Staff

Our Training Advisors hold minimum qualifications of A1, Delivery of Teaching & Learning at Level 3, Key Skills at Level 2, Health & Social Care Level 3. Internal Verifiers hold minimum qualifications of V1, Health & Social Care Level 4 or nursing qualifications. They have a range of backgrounds and expertise in nursing, care management, learning disabilities, mental health, elderly residential and community care and are actively encouraged continue gaining qualifications and regularly return to the workplace to keep their practical knowledge and skills up to date.

Staff are also routinely vetted through the Criminal Records Bureau to ensure the safety of our learners and employers.

Quality Assurance

Everything we do is monitored, through observation and feedback, and reviewed on an annual basis to make sure that we keep the high standards that we set ourselves.

A series of questionnaires are sent to learners, employers and partners asking them to comment on how well CLC delivers its service, to ensure that we keep in touch with their views and make changes that improve their experience of us.

The Care Learning Centre is also monitored and audited by The Learning Skills Council, European Social Fund Government Office, Adult Learning Inspectorate and our Awarding Bodies
