Company Aims

Aim 1: Widen access and participation to enable employers to meet legislative National Minimum Standards training requirement.

To promote education and training opportunities for individuals and employers by offering flexible and accessible courses and promote social inclusion by removing barriers to learning resulting in 50% of employer staff working towards NVQ level 2 / 3 qualifications in line with NMS in 2008 increasing to 80% by 2010.

Aim 2: Develop long term Employer Partnerships to maximise employer outcomes and learner recruitment

To develop long term partnerships with employers/organisations with a clear focus on meeting employers’ business aims/objectives and improving business performance through training and development, resulting in 90% repeat business and increased referrals of learners from employers.

Aim 3: Effective Human Resource management results in strong performance

To develop a highly skilled and motivated staff supported by a committed and effective team of Directors / Senior Managers based on a culture of personal well-being, growth and challenge, which promotes and celebrates equality and diversity, inspiration and achievement – resulting in strong staff performance.

Aim 4: Employer / Learner feedback informs quality improvement

To maintain and further develop an Employer / Learner centred provision and culture underpinned by employer/learner feedback leading to continuous improvement across all Care Learning Centre activities. 
                                        

Aim 5: Maintain high levels of Learner achievement rates as employer business outcomes

To maintain high levels of business outcomes for employers / learners. To achieve 70% framework achievement rates on Apprenticeship programmes (compared with 63% nationally) and 80% achievement rates on Train to Gain programmes (compared with 56% nationally) through effective management and intervention.
